We can either simply verify that a divorce has been filed, and a decree issued, or we can provide copies of the divorce documents. The types
of documents that we can provide varies by state and by the type of divorce. If

Divorce records are stored at
both the state and the county level. Some states have
state repositories that contain all the records stored
in the state at the county level. Other states have no
central record repository for divorce records, and our
researchers go to the local county courthouse
where the divorce was filed and granted, and obtain the
documents at source.
Results can usually be obtained in 10 to 15 days, but
some states and counties are not computerized, have
limited personnel, and will only accept applications by
mail. In those situations results can take up to two
weeks to be returned.

To be sure that the correct
records are returned, the more information that can be
provided the better.
More general searches can be performed with much less
data, but the chances of the wrong records coming back
is greatly increased. The following information is best:
- Full name of Husband
- Full name of Wife (including
maiden name)
- Date of divorce (if known)
- Place of divorce; city
or town, county, state (if known)
- The type of final
decree (if known)
- Relationship to
parties (required in some instances)
- Purpose for which the
record is needed (required in some instances)
- Requestor's name &
address

For unsubstantiated, contested, or fraudulent credit card charges, there will be an additional $25.00 MINIMUM processing charge, PLUS collection and legal fees, IF incurred.
