Record Availability -
records are available from 1908 to present. Records prior to 1908 are available,
however they have to be recovered from archive and the turnaround time may be
significantly longer.
A signed release is required from the
mother, father, or child named on the certificate is required to obtain a copy
of the Birth Certificate. Alabama states that Birth Certificates are
only available to the following individuals:

fraudulent credit card charges, there will be an additional $25.00 MINIMUM
processing charge, PLUS collection and legal fees, IF incurred. If you call to
