RESEARCHERS -
In almost all the states we are able to go directly to the source, and our researchers obtain
original and certified copies of these public records from the
state, county parish or borough records offices and
court houses where they are stored.
Note: Certain
documents such as California birth records can take several
weeks to be processed and mailed. Genealogical requests,
especially, that often have to be recovered
from historical or archived public records. It depends on the
state being searched. Click on the states in the column

ACCURATE
INFORMATION - In order for us to process your order, we must comply
with vital records regulations. In the event that the information you provide to
us, does not exactly match the information on the record, there may be a delay.
Make sure that you provide us with correct and complete
information, because the
accuracy of our results, and speed of the service that we can provide depends on
the information that you provide us. Make sure that you provide us with all the
details that you can about the persons listed on the certificate or record.
For example, for a marriage certificate record, provide the name
of the bride and groom, where the marriage license was issued, the date and
location of the marriage ceremony. Our services are to provide the search, and
although we make every effort to provide you with the results that you are
looking for, we cannot guarantee the results if the information provided is
incomplete or inaccurate.
PLEASE NOTE
-
We charge a
fee for each
LOCATION
that we search. A search request that comes back as "no record found" will not
be credited back UNLESS it is clearly our mistake that the wrong location was
searched. If we have made the error then your money will be cheerfully refunded
with our apologies.
TURNAROUND TIME - In the event that
additional documentation is needed to place your order, for example a driver's
license or signed release or notarized signature or documentation showing legal
authority or proof of relationship, we cannot process your order until we have
receive this information. (Not all of these are needed for every order and the
document needed for each order is displayed when you place the order.)
Our turnaround times are based on the date that the
order is processed, not the date that you enter your request into our system.
Please send the necessary documents at the same time you enter your information
to avoid delays. It can take longer for genealogical requests that may have to
be recovered from historical or archived records.
RUSH ORDERS -
Turnaround time is usually
7-10 business days.
If you are in a hurry and need to have your order
expedited, call us at 1.800.315.7678 and let us
make sure that we can meet YOUR deadline.
We are able to fulfill rush orders using an
express carrier such as FedEx, but rush orders can ONLY be delivered to a street
address, not to a PO Box or military address. Please see the online order form
for any special restrictions that may exist for the state or county that you are
interested. Please
telephone or email us for rush orders as we will have to check availability with
the researcher who is located in that state.
